Park Notes: Off Leash dog park in Golden, CO. It's a pretty small park. The grass is slowly disappearing and they've added a punch of pea gravel. It was never leveled out so it can be hard for humans to walk through. Most dogs don't seem to mind it. There's very little shade for humans. The dogs can usually camp out under one of the little trees to get a little break from the sun.

From the North: Head south on CO-93 South. Get in the right turning lane to turn left onto CO-58 E (signs for U.S. 6). Soon after you turn, take a right onto Briarwood Dr.. At the stop sign, turn left onto 8th St/Clear Creek Canyon Rd. You'll see the park on your left.
From the South: Head northwest on US-6 W/6th Ave. Turn right onto CO-58 E. Turn a quick right onto Briarwood Dr.. Turn a quick left onto 8th St/Clear Creek Canyon Rd. You'll see the park on your left.
From the East: Head southwest on CO-58 W. Take the Washington Ave exit. Turn left onto Washington Ave. Turn right onto 8th St. Go to almost the end of the street and you'll see the park on your right.

Good Park This dog park is great for when we stay at the Clear Creek RV park. It's a short walk away. It's not a huge park for me to run in, but it works great for chasing my ball. My human wears me out before heading back to the RV Park. There is a water fountain outside one of the gates. The thick pea gravel in the middle of the park is kinda hard to run through when playing fetch or even for my humans to walk through. Seems like they could rake it out a little better so it's not so thick. Fortunately they left an area on the side that is only grass and dirt where my mum throws my ball. There is one picnic table with pergola above it for the humans to take a break. It provides a little shade and some trees give me some more. The poop bag stations are usually well stocked so my mum can pick up after me.
