  1. The BEST! I absolutely love Chatfield dog park. It's huge with paths for me to run through the park and has a couple large lakes for me to swim in. I can spend hours chasing my ball. My mum loves to throw the ball in the lake and I go get it and bring it back to her. The trails run along the perimeter of the park and also through areas in the middle. It's mostly gravel, sand, and weeds. There are some paved paths as well. It has bag stations throughout the park, usually well stocked for my mum to pick up after me. There are a couple water fountains inside the park so my mum can fill up my water bowl and her water bottle. Each water fountain is located inside the two entries. There are also restrooms for my human outside the entry gates. These two entries have small parking lots. I've never had a problem with my mum finding parking, but she always goes on weekday mornings to avoid all the other humans. Over the summer on weekends, the parking lots are usually packed. If you live close, it's worth getting a yearly state park pass & Off-Leash pass. It's one of my favorite off-leash parks in Colorado.
