Love this Campground Pros: Great location, dog park short walk away, tons of walking trails, walking distance to downtown Golden, full hookups Cons: Campsites are close together My dogs and I love this campground. There’s so many walking paths and a hiking trail right by the campground, you could walk for hours. When it’s hot the dogs can take a dip in Clear Creek and cool off. And when they needed a little more exercise, we could walk 5 minutes to the dog park and play fetch. It’s not the best maintained dog park but it’s an area for them to run, there’s a few trees that provide shade, and a water fountain outside the gate to keep everyone hydrated. For those with kids, there’s lots to keep them busy. Lions park is right outside the campground. It has a good sized playground, lots of grass to run around in, and a couple pavilions to reserve for parties, and baseball fields. Other great amenities, free wifi (unfortunately it's not-secure), clean restrooms with FREE showers. There’s a laundry machines if you need to catch up on laundry. And lastly, the staff is nice. We will stay here often!
