Parking: There are two parking lots for the East Boulder Park. The closest is on the south side of 55th Street. You can also park in the lot off of Sioux Drive. It's a further walk but it's not too far.

Park Notes: East Boulder Dog Park is an off-leash dog park located in Boulder, CO. It has a separate area for smaller timid dogs. The larger dog area is about 1.5 acres and the smaller dog area almost a half acre. From the big dog side, there is limited access to a small lake for the dogs to swim in. It's closed during the colder months. *NOTE: They do not test for Algae unless it is reported. Be careful as the water quality can vary. If you see algae, it's recommended to keep your dogs out of the water.

From North: Head south on Foothills Pkwy. Take the S Boulder Rd exit. Turn left onto S Boulder Rd. Turn left onto 55th St. Turn left into East Boulder parking lot. The dog park is adjacent to the parking lot.
From South: Head northwest on US-36 W. Take the S Boulder Rd exit toward Table Mesa Dr. Turn right onto S Boulder Rd (signs for Louisville). Turn left onto 55th St. Turn left into East Boulder parking lot. The dog park is adjacent to the parking lot.
From East: Head west on W South Boulder Rd toward Hays Dr. Continue onto S Boulder Rd. Turn right onto 55th St. Turn left into East Boulder parking lot. The dog park is adjacent to the parking lot.
From West: Head east on Table Mesa Dr. Continue onto S Boulder Rd. Turn left onto 55th St. Turn left into East Boulder parking lot. The dog park is adjacent to the parking lot.

Swimming Lake This park was pretty nice. I was excited to see it had 3 sections to it and one of them had a lake I could swim in. You can get to the lake section from the big dog side. They also had a section for small dogs like my sister. It was mostly dirt so it wasn't the best on my paws playing fetch, but I didn't care, I just wanted to run. There was some shade so I could get a break from the sun. There were places for my humans to sit as well.
