Park Notes: Twin Lakes Off Leash Dog Swim is an off-leash dog park in Boulder, CO. The west lake has the off-leash area and the east lake the dogs must be on a leash. The off-leash side has a trail that runs around the lake. The trail is .7 miles long. Dogs are allowed to swim in the lake, their humans are not. There are benches scattered throughout the park. Trash bins are only located at the main entry gate. The other two gates are only reachable by foot on the Twin Lakes Trail. Dogs can play fetch in the water or in the small open field off mowed weeds, close to the main gate. They could also play on the trail, but the gravel could get rough on their paws after awhile.

The Avery Brewery is located across the street where you can stop by and have a beer before or after visiting the park. They're patio is dog friendly.

The Twin Lakes Off Leash Dog Park is pretty easy to find. From the North on the Diagonal Hwy, turn left on 63rd St. Turn left onto Nautilus Dr. Soon after you will have to go left or right. Take a left. You'll see the park on your right. From the South on the Diagonal Hwy, turn right on Jay Rd. Then turn left on 63rd St. Turn right onto Nautilus Dr. Soon after you will have to go left or right. Take a left. You'll see the park on your right

  1. Heaven I love swimming in this lake. My mum throws my ball out to the middle of the lake and I have to go get it for her while my sister swims laps around me. It has paths that go around the lake so we can keep moving and swimming in all different areas of the park. There were poop bag stations and trash cans near the entry gates so that mum could clean up after me. None of the gates were double gated so make sure your 4-legged doesn't run out when other 4-legged's come in. This park is located next door to Avery Brewery so our humans can unwind after wearing us out.
